Recognizing the need to fill a void
within this industry, the principals of Quality Signal Construction,
Inc., founded the company in 1996. Bringing together 40+ years of experience,
the three owner/managers take pride in offering each client expertise, attention
to detail, and consistent delivery of reliable work at a fair price. Today,
QSC maintains numerous crossings and 120 miles of ABS signal systems.

We have repaired scores of knockdowns; and replaced many more poles and
cross arms.
Bernard C. Bunney, President/C.E.O. - Bunney began his career in 1969 working as an Assistant Signalman and Assistant Signal Maintainer for Southern Pacific Transportation Company. Over the years, he was promoted to Signalman, Signal Maintainer and ultimately to Lead Signalman for the company. In 1976, Bunney accepted a position as a Lead Signal Maintainer, serving also in the capacity of Electrician and Communications Lineman. Then, in 1993, Bunney joined a contractor working for California Northern Railroad, as Signal Supervisor where he oversaw maintenance on 160 miles of ABS; 300 miles of dark territory; over 300 grade crossings; 3 manual interlocks; and 2 automatic interlocks. John Mollart, Vice President, General Manager - Mollart has been involved in this industry since 1989, where he served as Assistant Signalman for Southern Pacific Transportation Company. He was quickly promoted to Signalman, where he served until accepting a position as Crossing and Signal Maintainer for a contractor working for California Northern Railroad, in 1993. In 1996, Mollart joined with Bunney and Brazil to form Quality Signal Construction, Inc. |
